[origin: WO2019020940A1] The invention relates to a refrigeration plant (5) comprising: a first chamber (10) containing water in the liquid state (14) at a temperature below or equal to the temperature of the triple point of water or less than 10°C above the temperature of the triple point of water and water in the gaseous state (11) at a first pressure equal to the saturation vapour pressure of water in equilibrium with the pressure of the water in the liquid state (14); a second chamber (30) at a second pressure strictly greater than the first pressure by at least a factor of two; a compression device (32) connecting the first chamber to the second chamber; a condensation device (34) suitable for condensing water in the gaseous state in the second chamber into water in the liquid state; and a device (24) for extracting cold power in the first chamber.
