[origin: WO2019025446A1] The present invention relates to the field of lubricating compositions for motor vehicles. The lubricating composition according to the invention is graded according to the SAE J300 classification defined by the formula (X)W(Y), wherein X represents 0 or 5; and Y represents an integer between 4 and 20; and comprises at least one diester of formula (I): Ra-C(O)-O-([C(R)2]n-O)s-C(O)-Rb. The invention also relates to the use of such a composition as an engine lubricant, in particular for a vehicle engine, in order to reduce the fuel consumption of the engine and to improve engine cleanliness.
