[origin: WO2020069968A1] The invention relates to a manually operated press (10, 10'), comprising an actuating member (18) coupled to a shaft (26), the actuation of which is converted into a lifting movement of a press ram (24) coupled to the shaft (26), and thus also into a change in a relative position of the press ram (24). The press (10, 10') further has a reset mechanism (40) for resetting the actuating member (18), which counteracts the actuation of the actuating member (18) and causes a resetting movement of the press ram (24) opposite the lifting movement, wherein the reset mechanism (40) has a spiral spring (46) that is designed as a spirally wound leaf spring.
