[origin: WO2019108151A2] The present invention relates to a door retaining mechanism (1) having a holding arm (90), an upper hub (70a) and a lower hub (70b) provided in a manner tightening the holding arm (90) in between and which controls opening of the door in vehicles. As an improvement, the holding arm (90), provided at least partially in cylindrical form, is configured to have rotational freedom in its own axis, the holding arm (90) comprises at least one threaded part (92) which extends partially thereon and a non-threaded part (93) which extends at the continuation of the threaded part (92), and at least one thread (74) is provided on the surfaces of the lower hub (70b) and the upper hub (70a) pressing the holding arm (90) in a compliant manner to the threaded part (92).
