The system is characterized in that the guiding element takes the form of a guiding tube (2) forming an closed circle and having an interior (50), which guiding tube simultaneously acts as a supporting element for the transport carriage (4), and in that at least one transport element (15) is arranged in the interior (50) of the guiding tube (2), which transport element is driven by the drive unit (3) which is arranged outside the guiding tube (2) and which, coupled to the transport carriage (4), displaces the transport carriage (4) along the guiding tube (2), wherein the transport element (15) and the transport carriage (4) are exclusively coupled by a magnetic interaction through the wall of the guiding tube (2).
