[origin: WO2019177547A1] Modular sliding member power mechanism and method for its operation solves a technical problem of providing for easier maintenance of power sliding door mechanism, current mechanisms are subject to significant maintenance operations during malfunctions, and also for easier installations, and further, simplification of disengaging of sliding member to sliding member power mechanism by supplying a power operated sliding member mechanism in a module, such module comprising driving engine, preferably electrical motor, driving means connected to said driving engine, connecting means for connection to sliding member, preferably doors, and release mechanism for releasing of said connecting means, all of the above packaged into modular form for easy installment and removal.
