[origin: WO2019158729A1] The present invention relates to a sample container comprising one or more unit(s) for contactless communication with a base station and optionally a temperature sensor. The invention further refers to a sample container rack designed to receive one or more sample container(s) as a base station, to a remote receiving station designed to receive in a wireless and/or real-time communication fashion information of a sample container rack or of a sample container, a sample analyzer designed to receive one or more sample container rack(s), and a sample analysing system comprising at least a combination of a sample container and a sample container rack. The elements of the invention comprise an electronic and network based system for the surveillance of biological samples. The system thus supports parameter controls of the samples, real-time tracking during transport and sample management options before, during and after sample analyses.
