La présente invention concerne une tête d'épilation pour un appareil à épiler doté d'un moteur électrique, comprenant un rouleau (1) ayant :un arbre central porté par un axe longitudinal et comprenant au moins une came présentant au moins une rainure,une cage sensiblement cylindrique de révolution autour de l'axe longitudinal, destinée à être entrainée en rotation autour de l'axe longitudinal par le moteur électrique,une pluralité de rangées d'arrachage disposées en périphérie de la cage, chaque rangée d'arrachage comprenant une unique pince d'arrachage montée mobile sur la cage et guidée par l'au moins une rainure de la came, chaque pince d'arrachage comprenant une unique lame d'arrachage,une pluralité de barrettes (17) longitudinales agencées respectivement en regard de la pluralité de rangées d'arrachage radialement vers l'extérieur, chaque barrette (17) longitudinale comprenant un orifice traversant (18) ayant un élément d'appui s'étendant radialement par rapport à ladite barrette (17), la lame d'arrachage de la pince d'arrachage de la rangée d'arrachage correspondante étant agencée pour traverser ledit orifice traversant (18) et pour venir en appui sur l'élément d'appui de sorte à alternativement pincer des poils sur l'élément d'appui et les relâcher lors du mouvement de rotation de la cage (10) par rapport à l'arbre centraldans laquelle les orifices traversants (18,18') de deux barrettes adjacentes (17,17') sont décalés longitudinalement et présentent un chevauchement délimitant une zone circonférentielle d'épilation.
