[origin: WO2019042611A1] The invention relates a light-permeable multi-layer composite film made from plastic as a surface coating for an object, the composite film comprises at least one outer at least partially light-permeable covering layer and optionally provided with a covering, and at least one additional layer arranged on the rear side of the cover layer, an optical layer being arranged on the rear side of the cover layer, the optical layer being preferably an optical layer comprising polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and having light transmitting, light refractive, and light reflective properties or a combination thereof, and the transmitting, refractive and reflective properties being designed in such a way that an illumination of the optical layer, in particular a rear-side illumination of the optical layer, leads to a preferably evened-out passage of light through the cover layer.
