[origin: WO2019042838A1] The invention relates to a sealing apparatus (13) for an air suspension device (1) for sealing a primary volume (11) of the air suspension device (1), in particular a working volume of the air suspension device (1), with respect to a secondary volume (12), comprising a main body (14) and a sealing element (15) formed at the periphery of the main body (14). The sealing element (15) is designed in such a way that the sealing element (15), when assembled in the air suspension device (1), is transferred from a sealing position, in which the sealing element (15) seals off the primary volume (11) with respect to the secondary volume (12), into a release position, in which air passes through the sealing element (15) if a pressure difference between the primary volume and the secondary volume, established as a negative pressure in the primary volume (11) as compared to the secondary volume (12), exceeds a threshold value.
