The sealing element (15) is designed in such a way that the sealing element (15), when assembled in the air suspension device (1), is transferred from a sealing position, in which the sealing element (15) seals off the primary volume (11) with respect to the secondary volume (12), into a release position, in which air passes through the sealing element (15) if a pressure difference between the primary volume and the secondary volume, established as a negative pressure in the primary volume (11) as compared to the secondary volume (12), exceeds a threshold value.
