Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2019048673A1] The invention relates to a device (1) for molding plastic preforms into plastic containers, comprising at least one blow molding assembly (2) which comprises at least one first mold support (5a), a second mold support (5b), and a blow molding device (10) that comprises at least two blow mold lateral parts (10a, 10b) and a base part (10c). The blow molding device (10) can be releasably arranged on the mold supports (5a, 5b) via a locking mechanism (7) and forms a cavity, within which the plastic preforms can be molded into the plastic containers. The mold supports (5a, 5b) can be locked together during the molding process by means of a locking device (9), and the device (1) has a changing robot (15) which is suitable for and designed to remove the blow molding device (10) from the mold supports (5a, 5b) in an assembled state. According to the invention, the mold supports (5a, 5b) are actuated (opened/closed) automatically during a changing operation solely by the changing robot (15) and/or the lock (12) of the blow molding device (10) to the mold supports (5a, 5b) can be actuated (released/secured) solely by the changing robot (15) and/or the locking device can be actuated by the changing robot during a changing operation.
