[origin: WO2019043664A1] A filling unit (18) for a manufacturing machine (8) for the production of disposable cartridges (1) for electronic cigarettes; the filling unit (18) has: a cylindrical shaped tank (46) which is delimited, at the bottom, by a circular shaped base disc (50); a feeding duct (53), which feeds a flow of tobacco inside the tank (46); at least one group (48) of seats (49), each obtained in the base disc (50) and that is adapted to receive and contain a corresponding quantity (5) of tobacco; a transfer device (54), which is arranged in a fixed position at a filling station (S2) and cyclically transfers the quantities (5) of tobacco contained in the seats (49); a shutter element (61), which is movably mounted, is arranged below the group (48) of seats (49) and is provided, for each seat (49), with an air-permeable plug (62) and a through hole (63) arranged beside the plug (62); an actuator device (64) which, on the outside of the filling station (S2), keeps the shutter element (61) in a closing position, in which a corresponding plug (62) is arranged below each seat (49) so as to close the seat (49) at the bottom and prevent the descent of the tobacco, and, in the filling station (S2), keeps the shutter element (61) in an opening position, in which a corresponding through hole (63) is arranged below each seat (49) so as to allow the descent of the tobacco; and a cleaning device (110), which cyclically cleans the air-permeable plugs (62) before the seats (49) are filled with new quantities (5) of tobacco.
