Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2019043401A1] A process for producing particulate carbon-coated lithiumiron phosphate comprising a milling step and a calcination step. The process uses polyvinyl butyral having a butyryl content of at least 84 wt% and a hydroxyl content of 16 wt% or less as a carbon-containing precursor. The process enables the formation of electrodes with higher electrode density.
