[origin: WO2019048074A1] The invention relates to an aerial vehicle (2) for countering drones, comprising a drive (4) and a housing (8) around said drive (4) and an active component (18) for damaging a drone (32). A precise approach towards the drone (32) can be achieved if the aerial vehicle (2) has a seeker head (12) with an optical viewfinder (14) and a control unit (10) for drone detection, for controlling approach towards the detected drone (32) and for triggering the active component (18).
