[origin: WO2019051514A1] A device for carrying a small child is described, with a seat part (10) which is arranged on a shoulder strap (6) and which has two intersecting belt strands (7, 8) that each extend from the dorsal portion to the ventral portion of the shoulder strap (6) and form leg receptacles (13) from the intersection (9) on the one hand to the dorsal portion and on the other hand to the ventral portion of the shoulder strap (6). In order to create advantageous design conditions, it is proposed that the two belt strands (7, 8), together with a back strand (14) extending between the dorsal portion and the ventral portion of the shoulder strap (6), are formed from mutually twistable loops (3, 4, 5) of a continuous belt (1).
