The threaded insert (3) contains a receiving opening (16) with an inner thread (17) for screwing in the tool at the front end face (20). According to the invention, the threaded insert (3) has a plug-in region (13) which tapers towards the rear end face (26) and which comprises an outer support surface (14), and at least one depression (25) for receiving an adhesive is arranged on the outer contact surface (14). The invention additionally relates to a receiving element for such a threaded insert and to a tool receiving area comprising such a threaded insert and a corresponding receiving element.
