[origin: WO2019057892A1] The present invention concerns a bench for outdoor public use and suitable for seating at least two persons and suitable for performing fitness exercises. The bench comprises support brackets that connect the seat and back- rest of the bench and wherein the support brackets not only serve as a base for the seating functionality but also serve as a base for multiple fitness elements enabling multiple fitness functionalities. The bench is at least configured with suspension ropes and arm rests for performing fitness exercises and additionally configurable with a bar for lifting exercises,a step and balancing board among other fitness elements. The bench is configured as a cost- effective, safe and compact urban element suitable for integration in public areas such as parks, playgrounds, schools or along hiking trails.
