Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2019057864A1] The present invention relates to a method and to a device for processing an echo signal received by an acoustic sensor. The echo signal is detected over a temporal measurement interval (21), a minimum value (22) which describes a minimum amplitude of the echo signal (20) within the measurement interval (21) is determined, an amplitude value (24) which describes an amplitude of the echo signal (20) within a measurement window (23) is determined, the measurement window (23) being a predefined temporal interval within the measurement interval (21), the difference between the minimum value (22) and the amplitude value (24) is determined, and on the basis of the determined difference it is ascertained whether the echo signal (20) comprises an interfering signal of a first kind or an interfering signal of a second kind.
