[origin: WO2019057240A1] The invention relates to a plug connector having two housings (3.1, 3.2) and a locking clip (1) and a catch (2, 2') for locking and unlocking the two housings (3.1, 3.2), wherein the locking clip (1) is rotatably mounted on one of the two housings (3.1). The catch (2, 2') comprises at least one part and is arranged on the locking clip (1). It has a folded-out position (ak) and a folded-in position (ek). In addition, the catch (2, 2') has at least one articulated connection (4) and is formed in the shape of a Z-support. The catch (2, 2') prevents inadvertent opening and closing of the locking clip with simultaneously simple handling for the user. The invention further relates to two methods for locking a plug connection and to a method for unlocking a plug connection.
