[origin: EP3685707A1] A refrigerated sales cabinet (2) comprisesa door (8);a door operation motor configured to move the door (8) between a closed position and an opened position;a control unit (22);a door opening sensor (18), particularly a touch or proximity sensor configured to sense, while the door (8) is in its closed position, if a hand of a customer touches the door opening sensor (18) or if a hand of a customer is moved close to the door opening sensor (18) and to transmit a door opening signal indicative of such touch or such movement to the control unit (22); andwherein the control unit (22) is configured to drive the door operation motor in response to such door opening signal such that the door operation motor moves the door (8) the from its closed to its opened position; and/ora door obstruction detection sensor (24), particularly a proximity sensor configured to sense, while the door (8) is in its opened position, if an object, particularly a person or a body part is positioned in the way of the closing movement of the door (8), and to transmit a door closing signal indicative that no object is in the way to the control unit (22); andwherein the control unit (22) is configured to drive the door operation motor in response to such door closing signal, such that the door operation motor moves the door (8) the from its opened to its closed position.
