[origin: US2019091518A1] The ball includes a plurality of polygonal panels that are attached to one another, each such panel having a marginal region and a central region, wherein the marginal region is raised or elevated relative to the central region. By virtue of its material of construction, the weight of the ball is about half that of an equivalent-sized conventional soccer ball. As a consequence of its configuration and weight, the ball can be readily kicked to follow a bending, curving, dipping, and/or swerving trajectory.
