[origin: WO2019063933A1] The invention relates to a pyrotechnic switching device (1) intended to be connected to an electrical circuit to be switched, the device comprising: - at least one pyrotechnic initiator (20); - a first, conductive portion (41) and a second, nonconductive portion (42), each of which is intended to be connected to the electrical circuit, the second portion being connected in parallel with the first portion and comprising two conductive elements (42a; 42b) separated by an insulating segment (42c), at least one of the conductive elements being provided with a first fuse element (43) connected in series, which is configured to be tripped when the intensity of the current flowing therethrough exceeds a first predetermined value; and - a first, insulating relief (34) and a second, conductive relief (35), each of the first and second reliefs protruding from a lower face of a mobile piston and the first and the second reliefs being located, respectively, facing the first portion and the insulating segment, and said at least one pyrotechnic initiator being configured to make the switching device transition from a first configuration allowing the current to flow to a second configuration in which the current is interrupted, the first and second reliefs being set in motion during the transition from the first to the second configuration so as to disconnect the first portion by it being broken through impact with the first relief, and to electrically connect the two conductive elements by means of the second relief at the moment when the first portion is disconnected at the latest.
