Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2019068425A2] In order to qualify noise and comfort problems, most realistic excitations are introduced into rolling tires via running drums. In this case, high-frequency excitations are generated by, for example, road-like drum surfaces. The running drum is usually rotatably mounted via a shaft. The invention relates to a running drum arrangement (2) for a test stand (1), comprising a drum body (6), the drum body (6) having a running surface (13) on its outer circumference for contact with a vehicle tire, a base frame (3), the base frame (3) having an axle portion (5), wherein the drum body (6) is rotatably mounted relative to the axle portion (5) with respect to an axis of rotation (R), and wherein the running drum arrangement (2) comprises at least one actuator (9) for the radial movement of the drum body (6) relative to the axle portion (5).
