[origin: WO2019228682A1] Pipette tip made of plastic, having an elongate tubular body with a lower opening at the lower end for the passage of liquid and with an upper opening at the upper end for clamping onto a base of a pipetting device, wherein a seat region for the base is present on the inner circumference next to the upper opening, and at least one groove extending in the axial direction is present on the outer circumference, and the tubular body is designed such that, when the pipette tip is plugged with the seat region (15) onto a base, with a plug-on force of at most 5 N, preferably of 3.3 N, more preferably of 3 N, said tubular body is plastically expanded in the circumferential direction inside the groove.
