[origin: WO2019073367A1] A shielding assembly adapted for enclosing or wrapping around a cable for analog and/or digital signal transmission, including: one or more shielding layers enclosing at least partly the cable and preferably having a clearance portion arranged at its one end, and a shielding portion arranged adjacent to the clearance portion for effecting its shielding operation; wherein the shielding portion of the one or more shielding layers are in electric / conductive connection with each other and preferably in series connection with a filter element and ground terminal of the cable; wherein the shielding portion preferably includes an isolation tube on which a braid shield is mounted; and a spirally wound shield wound at least partly on the braid shield and extended between a first and a second ends of the braid shield.
