[origin: EP3696045A1] Provided is a locking mechanism for a point machine. The locking mechanism includes a locking iron, an action rod, an action block, a locking block group, an oil cylinder assembly and a damping mechanism. Two grooves are provided on one side of the locking iron. The action block is provided with two sliding grooves is mounted with two locking blocks in a shape of diamond. The action rod is fixed connected to the action block. One side of the action block is in sliding fit with the locking iron and the other side of the action block is in sliding fit with an outer cylinder sleeve of the oil cylinder assembly. The damping structure is configured between the locking iron and the outer cylinder sleeve. According to the present invention, the existing manner of locking by a point machine through a locking mechanism is improved, and the locking stability and reliability are improved.
