To this end the brush assembly has a rotationally drivable brush holder (5) and a ring brush (6, 8) with an annular array (6) of outwardly projecting bristles (7). According to the invention the ring brush (6, 8) is preferably designed to be reciprocably axially movable.

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Bürstenaggregat zur Bearbeitung der Oberfläche eines Werkstückes (1). Dazu verfügt das Bürstenaggregat über einen rotativ antreibbaren Bürstenhalter (5) und eine Ringbürste (6, 8) mit einem Borstenkranz (6) mit nach außen abstehenden Borsten (7). Erfindungsgemäß ist die Ringbürste (6, 8) vorzugsweise oszillierend axial verstellbar ausgebildet.
