[origin: WO2019081803A1] The object of the invention is a method to adapt markings, colors, patterns and/or other characteristics to the surface layer (1) of the bowling lane, according to which method at least the plates (2.1 - 3.5) that form the speed lane (2) and the roll lane (3) are cut and/or machined to accurate measures of the texture or glossy quality high pressure laminate work in progress (10) and at least a part of the markings, colors, patterns and other characteristics that come to the surface layer (1) are adapted to the plates (2.1 - 3.5). Also the plate (4.1 ) that forms the surface of the pin table (4) is cut and machined to accurate measures of texture or glossy quality high pressure laminate work in progress 10. The mentioned work in progress 10 is essentially without pattern and colorless or then it has color, lines, tree cross section resemble pattern and/or some other basic pattern. At least a part of the mentioned markings, colors, patterns and other characteristics that come to the surface layer (1) can be adapted to the plates (2.1- 3.5) after they have been installed to their places and all the markings, patterns and characteristics to the plates (2.1- 4.1) are adapted permanently or temporarily by pressing, printing, inserting or with the help of the energy radiation.
