Abstract (en)

An echo cancellation method and apparatus based on time delay estimation. The method comprises: acquiring microphone signals and reference signals and preprocessing same (101); determining frequency-point signals with a nonlinear condition in the preprocessed microphone signals and reference signals in a current echo cancellation scenario (102); according to frequency-point signals without a nonlinear condition in the microphone signals and the reference signals, obtaining, by means of calculation, a current time delay estimation value (103); moving the reference signals based on the current time delay estimation value (104); and according to the preprocessed microphone signals and the moved reference signals, updating a self-adaptive filter so as to realize echo cancellation (105). The present invention can improve the accuracy of time delay estimation and improve the echo cancellation effect.
