[origin: WO2018219566A1] The invention relates to an insulation device (100) for a coating system (10) for coating objects. The coating system (10) comprises an electrostatically operating application apparatus having a dispensing device (19), by means of which a coating material can be dispensed, and having at least one storage container (32) for coating material, which storage container is connected to an inlet valve device (22) by means of an inlet line and to the dispensing device by means of a supply line (36). The insulation device (10) comprises a main body (120) made of an electrically insulating material, having a channel (104) for a clearing body (102) movable in the channel, and comprises at least one delivery line. The channel (104) has an inner wall, along which the clearing body (102) an be moved. The clearing body has an electrically insulating material and can be moved between a parking position and an insulation position in such a way that the inner wall is freed of material, in order to form an electrical insulation section between the storage container (32) and the inlet valve device (22). According to the invention, the inner wall has a vitreous material. The invention further relates to a coating system (10) having such an insulation device (100) and to a method for producing such an insulation device.
