[origin: EP3705375A1] A structure of a gear housing is achieved that is capable of ensuring rigidity and moldability even in a case where the thickness of a front-side housing of the gear housing is reduced. Reinforcing ribs 38a, 38b, 38c are arranged on a front side surface of the front-side housing 15a so as to span between a worm housing portion 18a and a worm wheel bottom portion 40 of a worm wheel housing portion 17a. The extending direction of the reinforcing ribs 38a, 38b, 38c is made to coincide with the direction in which an engagement reaction force acts between a worm wheel and a worm.
