[origin: WO2019091654A1] Described and disclosed is a method for processing and/or filling packaging (2), in particular composite carton packaging, in a processing machine and/or filling machine (1). In order to reduce the quantity of equipment while maintaining a high throughput and/or to facilitate a more flexible operation, according to the invention: packaging blanks (5) in a take-up station (9) are transferred sequentially in cycles to mandrels (8) of a mandrel wheel (7) that revolves cyclically, said mandrels passing the take-up station (9); at regular intervals after the transfer, by means of the mandrels (8) passing the take-up station (9), of a specific number of packaging blanks (5) in the take-up station (9) to another specific number of mandrels (8) sequentially passing the take-up station (9), no further packaging blank (5) in the take-up station (9) is transferred; in at least one forming station (10,12,14), the packaging blanks (5) transferred in the take-up station (9) to the mandrel wheel (8) are processed in cycles on a mandrel (8) of the mandrel wheel (7); after passing the at least one forming station (10,12,14), packaging (2), which is open at one end, is transferred sequentially in cycles from the mandrel wheel (8), in a transfer station (15), to all the cells (16) of a conveying device (17) that pass the transfer station (15); and the packaging (2) that is open at one end and has been transferred to the cells (16), is fed in the cells (16) of the conveying device (17) to at least one processing station (22,23,24,28) for processing and/or to at least one filling station (26) for filling.
