[origin: WO2019086816A1] The present invention concerns a method for producing a fluorinated compound comprising the steps of providing a gas stream comprising hydrofluoric acid; providing at least one liquid stream of a chlorinated compound; spraying said at least one liquid stream of a chlorinated compound in order to form droplets; vaporising said droplets produced in step c) by mixing with said gas stream, the resulting mixture being a gaseous mixture; catalytically reacting the chlorinated compound with the hydrofluoric acid in the gas phase and collecting a product stream; characterised in that the droplets produced in step c) have an average diameter smaller than 500 μm. The invention also relates to a facility suitable for implementing this method. 2
