Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2019086671A1] The invention relates to a system for pumping a compressible liquid, comprising at least two pumps, a first pump (10) and a second pump (20), of which the respective pump outlet lines (12, 22) are led together into a connecting piece (36) and led out of said connecting piece (36) into a common outlet line (40). The second pump (20) is controllable by means of a control unit (50), the control unit (50) being operatively connected to a flow meter (48) and the pumping power of the second pump (20) being controllable by means of the control unit (50) as a function of the flow rate measurement. The invention further relates to a chromatography plant comprising a system according to the invention and to a chromatography method in which the system is used.
