[origin: WO2019096577A1] The invention relates to a device for hanging an article on a display stand and to a system for managing a stock of articles arranged on display stands by means of the hanging device, which can be used, in particular, with hanging devices, such as clothes hangers, that are used in a shop for hanging clothes on display stands such as racks. The device (1) comprises at least one hooking portion (2) for hanging the device on a display stand, and at least one support portion (3) for supporting an article (4). It further comprises a display module (9), a module for wirelessly reading (5) information items contained in an electronic tag (6), and a wireless communication module (7) capable of communicating with a remote computer server (8, 10, 11) for managing a stock of articles (4). The reading module (5) is configured to read at least one identification information item contained in an electronic tag (6) carried by an article (4) supported by the support portion (3), and to transmit said identification information item to the communication module (7). The communication module (7) is configured to receive an identification information item transmitted by the reading module (5), to transmit said identification information item to the server (8, 10, 11), to receive from the server (8, 10, 11) one or more information items characteristic of the article (4) identified by the identification information item transmitted by the reading module (5), and to transmit said characteristic information items to the display module (9). The display module (9) is configured to receive one or more characteristic information items relating to the article (4) and transmitted by the communication module (7), and to display said characteristic information items.
