[origin: WO2019096352A1] A problem with the established sanitary assemblies having integrated lighting is that said sanitary assemblies do not enable easy retrofitting of a sanitary region with a lighting function. The aim of the invention is to overcome said disadvantage and to propose a device that meets this long-standing need. This aim is achieved by means of a shower stall rod that has integrated illuminants. Precisely in the field of private domestic sanitary rooms, such a device permits sensible and extremely space-saving combination with the illuminant function described above. With a power source, an emergency power buffer and a control assembly advantageously added to the presently disclosed device, said device also increases the safety and comfort of users in this use.
