[origin: WO2019092358A1] A system for moving air (4), comprising: - a centrifugal impeller (7) rotating about an axis of rotation (A), the centrifugal impeller (7) comprising a plurality of impeller blades (8) configured to generate an airflow, and a base plate (9) comprising a first plate face (9.1) from which the impeller blades (8) project, and a second plate face (9.2) opposite the first plate face (9.1), and - a drive motor (18) configured to rotate the centrifugal impeller (7) about the axis of rotation (A), the base plate (9) comprising a plurality of corrugations (14) which are circular and concentric, the plurality of corrugations comprising at least one concave corrugation (14.1) and at least one convex corrugation (14.2), the base plate (9) having a peripheral portion (12) extending opposite the impeller blades and globally parallel to the axis of rotation (A) of the centrifugal impeller (7), characterised in that the base plate (9) comprises a central portion (11) comprising the plurality of corrugations, the central portion (11) of the base plate (9) extending globally perpendicular to the axis of rotation (A) of the centrifugal impeller (7).
