Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung (10) zum Herstellen eines Filterstrangs der Tabak verarbeitenden Industrie aus einem Filtermaterial umfassend eine mit Druckluft beaufschlagbare Transportdüse (11) und eine Führungsvorrichtung (12, 17, 18), die in Förderrichtung (13) des Filtermaterials stromabwärts der Transportdüse (11) angeordnet ist, wobei das Filtermaterial durch die Transportdüse (11) und die Führungsvorrichtung (12, 17, 18) führbar oder geführt ist.Die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass die Führungsvorrichtung (12, 17, 18) eine Führungsröhre (12) umfasst, die einen Eingang (14) und einen Ausgang (15) für das Filtermaterial aufweist, wobei ein Filtermaterialeinfädelschlitz (16) vorgesehen ist, der sich vom Eingang (14) bis zum Ausgang (15) der Führungsröhre (12) erstreckt.
