Abstract (en)
A smoking substitute system comprising a device and an aerosol forming article is disclosed. The device comprises a body (209) and a heating element (223) projecting from the body along a longitudinal axis of the housing. Further, the device comprises a cap (210) engageable with the body for at least partly enclosing the heating element. The cap is configured to be moveable away from the longitudinal axis between a first position and a second position. The cap at the second position defines an aperture (251) for accessing the heating element, with portion of the cap being engaged with the body.
