Abstract (en)
A smoking substitute device comprising: a heater; a battery for energising the heater; an outputting means; and a controller configured to measure the amount of energy stored in the battery and indicate to a user, via the outputting means, said amount of stored energy, upon receiving a user input when the smoking substitute device is operating in either i) a standby operating mode when the heater is deactivated or ii) a standard operating mode when the heater is activated.
