A smoking substitute device configured to provide a predetermined number of available puffs for a user in a session, comprising: a haptic device; a controller configured to determine the number of puffs remaining in said session, and to output haptic feedback to the user during a puff, via the haptic device, once the number of puffs remaining in said session reduces to or below a threshold.
