[origin: JP2020153972A] To provide a dial for a watch displaying a universal time with a simple mechanism.SOLUTION: A dial 1 includes a ring 2 in the form of an annular plate, a central disc 7 attached to the ring 2 in a concentric and essentially coplanar manner, and an optically transparent part 10. The diameter of the central disc 7 is less than the internal diameter of the ring 2 so as to form an annular area 9 between these two elements. The transparent part 10 covers the annular area 9. Further, the transparent part 10 is fixed to the central disc 7 and to the ring 2 to secure these elements to each other. The dial 1 can be used in a timepiece displaying a universal time, and makes it possible to attach a 24-hour disc to underneath the dial, and to view markings on the 24-hour disc through the optically transparent part 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
