[origin: JP2020153978A] To provide a watch case comprising a rotating bezel.SOLUTION: A watch case (1) includes a rotating bezel (4) and a middle part (3). The bezel (4) is mounted to be capable of moving in rotation on the middle part (3). The bezel (4) and the middle part (3) define an annular chamber (12) therebetween. The annular chamber (12) internally includes a device (11) for creating a friction torque between the bezel (4) and the middle part (3). The device (11) includes a compressing member (14) and a braking element (15). The compressing member (14) exerts a compressive stress on the braking element (15). Under the effect of the compressive stress, the braking element (15) is pressed against the bezel (4).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
