Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2019097008A1] The invention relates to a knitted product (21) and to a method for producing the same. The knitted product (21) is integrally produced on a knitting machine (10) by knitting a plurality of knitted layers (19). At least one first knitted layer (19a) and a second knitted layer (19b) are present in a functional section. Optionally, an intermediate knitted layer (19c) arranged therebetween can be provided. In the layers of the functional section (29), two electrode regions (30, 31) that are electrically separated from one another, and a coupling region (32) that electrically couples the two electrode regions (30. 31) are formed. The electrode regions (30, 31) are produced by using an electrically conductive thread (38) during the knitting of the respective region. The coupling region is designed to alter an electrical coupling between the two electrode regions (30, 31) depending on an external action.
