[origin: WO2019105517A1] A wind turbine blade has a leading edge, a trailing edge, a pressure surface extending between the leading edge and the trailing edge, a suction surface extending between the leading edge and the trailing edge, and an aerofoil section bounded by the pressure surface and the suction surface. The aerofoil section has at least one rearward facing step between the leading edge and the trailing edge. The step may have one or more apertures. Air may be ejected from the one or more apertures into a cavity immediately behind the step.
