[origin: EP3719164A1] A ferritic stainless steel having excellent creep resistance and thermal fatigue resistance is provided.The ferritic stainless steel has a chemical composition containing, in mass%, C: 0.020% or less, Si: 0.1 to 1.0%, Mn: 0.05 to 0.60%, P: 0.050% or less, S: 0.008% or less, Ni: 0.02 to 0.60%, Al: 0.001 to 0.25%, Cr: 18.0 to 20.0%, Nb: 0.30 to 0.80%, Mo: 1.80 to 2.50%, N: 0.015% or less, and Sb: 0.002 to 0.50%, with the balance being Fe and inevitable impurities, and satisfying the following expression (1); Nb + Mo: 2.3 to 3.0% (1)where Nb and Mo in expression (1) represent the contents (mass%) of the respective elements.
