[origin: WO2019110361A1] The invention relates to a round filter element (20) of a filter (10) for urea-water solution and to a filter (10). The round filter element (20) comprises: a filter bellows (62), which has at least one filter medium (64), which continuously extends circumferentially, with respect to an imaginary axis (22), around an element interior (66), which at least partly forms a filtration volume (78); and at least one end body (70), which is fastened to an end of the filter bellows (62). The at least one end body (70) has at least one connection portion (82) for fastening the round filter element (20) to a housing cover (16) of a filter housing (12). The at least one end body (70) has a central opening (74) to the element interior (66). The opening (74) has a central insertion portion (76) for inserting at least one flexible separating portion (32) of a volume compensation device (28) and at least one outer flow-through portion (80) for the flow of urea-water solution therethrough from or into the filtration volume (78).
