[origin: WO2019110498A1] The invention relates to the use of an adhesive strip for connecting panel elements in an articulated manner. The adhesive strip is adhered so as to bridge the gap between adjacent edges of two panel elements, wherein the adhesive strip has a carrier which is made of a film and on one side of which an adhesive compound in the form of a dried acrylate-based polymer dispersion is applied; the film is a biaxially oriented film made of polypropylene, polyethylene, or polyester such as PET; the polymer of the polymer dispersion is made of: c) 95.0 to 100.0 wt.% n-butyl acrylate and/or 2-ethylhexyl acrylate and d) 0.0 to 5.0 wt.% of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer with an acid or acid anhydride function; and a release layer is provided on the carrier side not coated with the adhesive compound, in particular a carbamate-based release layer.
