Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2019137857A1] The invention relates to an electric guitar which contains at least one pickup (1) in a recess on the guitar body. The pickup (1) can be installed into a receiving frame (4) and has electric contact points which leads to the output port on the guitar body via a cable. The pickup (1) has a fixing plate (14) on the rear face of the pickup, said fixing plate being screwed onto the height adjuster (18) of the pickup (1) at a variable distance to the base (8) of the pickup (1) via a threaded bush (16). The fixing plate contains spring-loaded pins which are electrically connected to the coils of the pickup (1). The fixing plate (14) can be inserted into the receiving frame (4) from the rear face of the guitar body (3) into a recess without tools and can be removed again from the receiving frame (4) without tools. When the pickup (1) is inserted, the pins on the fixing plate (14) are connected to the electric contact points (5) on the receiving frame, and the fixing plate (14) is retained on the receiving frame (4) by means of permanent magnets.
