[origin: WO2019115425A1] A device that can be deployed from a retracted position to a deployed position comprises at least a first board (41) and a second board (42), the device comprising a frame (2, 2', 2") intended to be horizontal and a deployment mechanism (3) for guiding the boards between the retracted position and the deployed position, and vice versa, the first board (41) being offset towards the rear of the device relative to the second board (42) in a horizontal main direction when the device is in the deployed position and, when the device is in the retracted position, the first board (41) is offset towards the front of the device and the second board (42) is offset towards the rear, the two boards (41, 42) being situated at substantially the same level.
